The challenge
Build an identity for pickleball gear with a strong sense of style. Neonami’s leather paddle covers and apparel needed a brand that could move naturally between the court and everyday life.
The approach
The name combines neo, new, with nami, Japanese for wave. A wave-shaped N becomes the wordmark’s defining letter, a standalone monogram, and a repeating pattern. Navy, fire orange, court green, and off-white balance refinement with energy.
The result
One core letterform anchors an entire identity system. The work extends across the wordmark, brand pattern, paddle and product design, and apparel.
